It is not everyday that you can experience a system with more than 70,000 techniques that keeps evolving. It is a complete system combining Yoga and Kung Fu. To’a uses geometrics forms and studied precise body mechanism to maximise its effectiveness for any type of body. For example, you do not need to learn Muay Tai, Ju Jitsu and Karate to have a complete system. To’a combines in one system aerials, kicks, punches, grappling, applications, conditioning and more to develop a complete individual. It is grounded in more then physical principles. It focus on the development of the mind and union of body and mind.
We combine Jujitsu, Aikido, North and South Chinese Kung Fu, Wing Chung and Karate techniques. What makes To’a so effective is precisely the capacity to defend yourself against so many different styles. You will learn to act, not react. You will learn self defence and grow as a complete person.
The Chief Instructor, Pedro Carrilho, has more than 16 years of Martial Arts training. Martial Arts and Yoga are part of Pedro’s being. Pedro learned with Master Guilherme Luz in Portugal, disciple of Master Sharam Kassiri who in turn is a direct disciple of the Founder and Gran Master Ebrahim Mirzaii. Pedro has also practiced Shotokan Karate, Aikido and Wing Chun Kung Fu. His approach to coaching is working on the completeness of the individual. All martial arts are the same at their core: they teach you pure principles, how to get to know yourself and others, develop your fitness and improve wellbeing. At the same time, they also allow you to tap into higher places of consciousness and awareness.
